National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia (the NHRCM) has been accredited with ‘A’ status for the 3rd time

Sub-Committee on Accreditation of the International Coordinating Committee (ICC) of the National Institutions for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms recommended re-accrediting the NHRCM with ‘A’ status after considering the NHRCM through its session held from 27-31 October 2014 in Geneva.

National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia (the NHRCM) has been accredited with ‘A’ status for the 3rd time

This is the third time the NHRCM has been accredited with ‘A’ status as a NHRI that fully complies with the Paris Principles.

ICC has 99 member institutions, which are accredited and re-accredited every fifth year with ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’ statuses depending on its degree of compliance with the Paris Principles on the status of the national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights. A NHRI with ‘A’ status can be a full member of the ICC to participate in its activities with voting right.
