3rd Asian Forum on the Rights of the Child to be held in Ulaanbaatar


National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia, National Authority for Children, UNICEF Mongolia, and General Research Institute of the Convention of the Rights of the Child (Asian Forum) is jointly organizing the 3rd Asian Forum on the Rights of the Child on 23 and 24 August 2014.

3rd Asian Forum on the Rights of the Child to be held in Ulaanbaatar

This event, which aims at ensuring the children’s rights, exchanging achievements and good practices of the Asian countries in the efforts for protection of the children’s rights at national and regional levels, identify emerging challenges, and seeking opportunities of further cooperation, is involving 40 international participants from Eastern Asia. 

The Forum is specific as it is being held during the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and is being organized through three main sessions on the topics such as "Child Labour and education”, "Support for children and the development of child-oriented cities”, and "Establishment of mechanisms for the protection and promotion of children's rights”.
